Throttle cable

Hi I’m looking to replace my throttle cable on my max ll from a 9ft to a 5ft heated cable I was wondering if I can use the cable to an aluminum throttle would fit a bike brake rather not spend a $100 on the half aluminum and plastic throttle right now I have the full plastic throttlel

I use a mountain bike lever with a go-cart cable and housing. It’s a little stiffer of a cable and seemed to work better. A light bit of grease on your cable before putting in the housing
