I'd appreciate your thoughts on the question of rebuilding an original Tillotson carb versus purchasing a new walbro.

I don't know what your plans are but I tried going that route and could never get my carbs to work right. I finally changed to a Mikuni and have been riding with no carb problems ever since. I know there are guys out there that say Tillotson and Walbros and good carbs. I just didn't have any luck with them. I now run Mikuni's all all five of my machines.
