Walboro to mikuni on jlo297 ?'s

After multiple issues with the walboro wda-1 carb on my max 2 with jlo297 engine I've decided a swap is in order, I have a mikuni tm32 flat side carb off a Suzuki RM125 that I'm planning on using, re-jetting and tuning shouldn't be a problem but was looking for a source for the adapter plate and longer throttle cable to fit the max, my current set up has a gravity fed fuel tank so won't need the pulse output from the engine, is that something I can just plug and be done with it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Making progress

Found the mikuni flange adapter at Niche cycle supply, can plug pulse from engine and looking at making custom cable from bulk cable and making simple solder pot to attach ends, I can get 50' roll of cable and housing cheaper than 1 cable would cost plus I'll have plenty extra for other projects and spare cables. Also ordered a k&n filter to fit carb so hopefully it works out.

Got the carb and new filter mounted turned over about 3 times and fired right up and idled perfectly hit the gas and great response, can't believe how much better it is without even tuning the carb over the walboro would recommend this mod to anyone still using the old carb it is a world of difference.
