    on a 23 h.p. briggs vanguard....how far from the motor can you move the stock pump ( so it won't heat up ) to keep it cooler and it will still pump fine . max 2 . johnboy va.

    I’ve seen vehicles with the pulse line more than a foot run fine. Keep line where it try’s to drain back to engine if using in cold weather. If it can trap condensation I’ve seen them freeze closed and the pump fails to operate. Usually in below zero temps.

      thanks friend...i'll give it a try. it only tends to vapor lock after running awhile in warm weather . ( busco ) i installed a good fan and that solves the problem. just wondered if it was away from the hot motor , maybe the fans not needed . j.b.
