I have no plans of trying this, maybe. But has anyone tried putting a HD 88 inch or other engine in their 6x6? I know everyone likes the Briggs or Kohler or even predator twins. But if you were building the ultimate all American amphibious ATV why not a Harley engine? Just thought about it while scrolling market place looking for Briggs opposed twin engines for back ups.

There have been some wild ones, but i don't know of a HD conversion. Griffins have/ had a 4 cylinder ford in a Max 4 that was stupid fast.A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

It's a Pinto engine and it is in a Max II. They trail ride it and have raced it. racerone3 is right, stupid fast. They had it at Pine Lake last June.Originally posted by racerone3 View PostThere have been some wild ones, but i don't know of a HD conversion. My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
Joe Camel never does that.
Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

Steve (car guy) has a Super Swamp fox with a three cylinder Chevy Geo aluminum block engine in it. Light, dependable, goes like crazy.Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.
(6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far
