How old is this engine? Anything from the late 70's, early 80's were oil injected. If you are going to premix, 40 to 1 was the standard mix a lot of guys ran although many guys run 50 to 1 using a high grade premix oil. I believe that it is different from injection oil but it has been a few years. I would start with the 40 to 1 and see how it runs. if you google the question you may get different answers. Being in Texas if you are in the warmer end then 40 to 1 would be my choice. -
