Some say there are no dumb questions,....I may prove them wrong. What is the top rpm for a stock 16 hp briggs opposed? I have read somewhere 3000 , 3600, 3400. I don't want to make it go bang, just a bit more power. This engine runs good, good compression, idles fine but just doesn't seem to get full revs. I know you a adjust the governor spring but need to know how high I can safely push this engine. I know 3600 is usually the magic number.
