New to this site, hope you all can help.
I have a MAX IV I purchased five years ago. It has a Briggs and Stratton Engine. Its stored inside and only has about 50 hours on it.
I can start it with the choke on, but as soon as try to throttle it up, the engine dies. I checked the fuel line as well as the fuel filter and there is no problem with either of them.
After the fuel filter, the line goes into a small black sealed plastic piece. In other words, this is found between the fuel filter and carb.
What exactly is this sealed black plastic piece? Is it possible that this is the source of my problem?
Any info you can supply is appreciated so I can get back to using my MAX.
Thanks.
