Tiny Tach Connection

I want to get a tiny tach to put on my 18 vtwin briggs. I know that you just put it around the plug wire, but which one? or does it even matter?!

Wrap the red one around the plug wire (Around 3-4 wraps with about 1/16 gap in the spiral heading toward the plug boot), run the white one to a good ground.

It doesn't matter which plug wire you use.

Make sure you order the tach for a 2-stroke engine, not a four stroke. Most small engines including our Briggs and Kohlers will spark on every revolution. If you use a four stroke tach, you'll be reading double RPMs.
