kawasaki motor swap with other

hello all!
i have a 99 argo conquest and was wanting to know if anyone has used any other motor in place of the kawasaki motor? if so can the radiator be used in other swap?

I deleted your thread in the argo forums because we don't allow double posting. There is no need for two of the exact same threads. If you don't get a response just post back here after a few days to bring the thread back to the top of the new post search.

You probably aren't getting a response because there aren't too many people if any using that radiator with another motor. Also, you may want to give more information like size of the motor, what other motor you are looking for, etc.

I've heard of it being done with just about every motor available, so I would think it could be done. Sorry, I don't know what your options are.

FWIW, I also think this thread should be in the Argo section , but this is not my decision to make.

I will ask around to see if I can find out what you might be able to replace the Kawasaki with.

If a thread can logically go in more than one forum I try to leave it where the poster puts it, in this case, one week ago it was put here in the engine forums.

This thread could really go either place as there are two questions here. One belongs with the Argo forum and the other with engines forum.

1) What other motors will fit in the argo (goes in the argo forum)

2) Will the Kawi radiator work with another motor. (goes in the engine forum)

It seemed to me that if the radiator wouldn't work with another motor then the swap may not happen so I left it here since that would be the main question.

However, today a week later the same thread was posted in the Argo forum. If there were initially two posts I would have left it in the Argo forums since part of the post is Argo specific. Since this thread was already here though, I left this one.

Grimus, it's not a big deal and I don't want you to feel bad about it at all and I definitely don't want you to worry about when/where to post. I'm just explaining why the post is where it is and why the other was deleted. Hope you understand.

A friend I ride with but don't talk to often, said he saw a conquest with a 27 or 29 hp kaw water cooled in it. I don't have any solid information, but he said it didn't lack for power.
