what is this extra fuel

ok, so I got my engine in the hustler, the engine came out of a snowmobile and when I have it running there is fuel shooting out of a side nozzle on the carb,is that suppose to recirculate thru the fuel line ?if so how far back up the line should I take it? it has the fuel pump built in the float bowl ,so it cant connect to that , any ideas? its a rotax 399

That needs to have a separate line back to the tank, higher than the fuel line coming out.. , A return line....

ugh

does this project ever get easy?so whats the easiest way to tap into an aluminum fuel tank?its so thin it would be hard to thread it .....

Does the tank have a vent? Or can you tap into the filler neck? Is the tank round or does it have a flat top or sides?

its round with the flat sides the filler neck is an option ...I think

Can you take out the single fitting and replace it with a double?

Make sure tank is cleaned out well and weld 1/4" or more 2"-2 1/2" any
shape to the tank with A/C tig GOOD LUCK
