  • Exhaust closeness to a t-20

I'm figuring out my exhaust on my hustler and one possible routing will take it about a 1/2 away from the top of t-20. It would run parallel to the t-20 at that distance for 3 inches. obviously keeping it further away would be the safest but how close is too close? I'm concerned about it raising the operating temp inside the transmission.

What about adding some heat shielding between the two?
