I’ve had trouble starting my K440-2AX. I have replaced the spark plugs, coils and rebuilt the carb. It seems to be getting good spark in one cylinder but not the other. Which leads to believe that the points and/ or the condensers might be bad?
My questions are, which is the best way to is replaces these components?
I have read in the manual to use a special tool to remove condensers to keep from damaging the stator. Could this be done without the tool? Will I have to re-time it after install? Would I be better off to buy a complete stator from RC?
The timing issue worrys me, for I have not done anything like that before.
