  • Spark plug - plug

I just changed the plugs in my Frontier and went with NGK Iridium IX plugs and what a difference! The extra price I paid for them seems to be worth it. ($20 for the two)

It seems to make more horse power and starts beautifully on the first roll with no throttle.

I chose the brand based on the packaging offering a cleaner burning more efficient spark.

Has anyone else tried this brand of plugs and did you have the same results?
Ya ain't stuck til the winch cable comes out!!!

It's good to change plugs often on these small engines/(small ignition output). You could take those old frontier plugs and run 'em 20,000 miles in a car. I don't think champion is a spectacular plug maker, but the racers use them in 40-50 hp mods of the 23 vanguard. NGK crossover also popular.

Not considering the insulator condition, how square and sharp the tip of the center electrode is, affects the voltage required to jump the gap. Electricity likes to jump from a sharp edge.
