I've been looking around in the gallery again, and I've seen a few pictures where some people have a opposed twin cyl Briggs (flat head) in some of thier rigs. I would like to put a 4-stroke in my new project, and I've got a flat head 16hp laying around.
Are these type motors a good idea for a 6x6?
Do they have the power I need?
And the biggest question....Can you hot-rod these thing a little to gain some more power? If so does anyone have a good resource where I could learn? Or maybe some hot-rodding ideas?
I was thinking of a bigger carb and porting the intake and exhaust. I've heard something about oil pressure system
Nothing over the top, just bigger and still reliable.
Oh yeah..If I go this route, I'll need a clucth. Anybody know what size and kind I'll need.
sorry for blabing, I'm just trying to get everything laid out in head.
