JLO 295 Coils trouble shooting?

Was running our Terra Tiger today and black wire came off ignition switch and contacted hot post next too it! Engine died! No Spark now! This wire attaches with blue wire at external coil and goes into secondary coil and points? So i figure it fried internal coil and points? Would it ruin lighting coil also? I replaced external coil and still no spark. Bummer! Have to pull engine out and check it out.

Can someone provide testing information for coils. Our Terra Tiger service manuals don't have anything details or information for trouble shooting them.

Got it running again!

We got it fixed! Was expecting a fried coil! We got lucky and it just fried the points.
