I'm not at all pleased with the acceleration or speeds I am able to reach with the Tec. 16 OHV in my Attex Tomahawk. I'm an old school 2 stroke fan and am used to the performance from them. I previously had Max IIs with JLO295s and for the most part was satisfied with them. A good friend had one with the Kohler 440 that really rocked and I want this type of power or even more. I'm thinking a large sled motor would be just the ticket but I don't want to toast the t-20. What is the largest 4 and/or 2 stroke a person should and could install inside a Tomahawk? I have the fabrication skills & equip. to do this.

T-20
I see some of these race AATVs have engines over 50 hp engines. I had a sand rail a couple of years ago called Drakart Formula Cross that sported a 583 twin Rotax with over 100hp. Needless to say this buggy kicked serious you know what. I don't think I need this much power but a good sized Rotax twin would fill the bill nicely. I have my eye on a nice John Deere 440 sled I can purchase right but I know nothing of these engines. I may have to watch evilbay or craigslist for a totaled sled.Originally posted by coosaridgerider View PostHi toyman,From what i have read and some of the members i have talked to,The t20 can take alot of hp.Whipper for one has put a lot of hp behind his t20.Toyman's AATV Toys;
