40-50HP horizontal shaft engine?

I need to find a H shaft engine that puts out 40-50 HP. Maybe this is optimistic and 30HP range would do. Thought I'd use a Honda V-twin aircooled or somessuch but cannot find anything online.

Suggestions? I want a modern engine (reliability) will have electric start. Air cooled preferred but water cooled may be workable. Thank you.

You're best bet is to get One out of a 4 wheeler or buy a built Briggs, but those can run you thousands. Whipper has one in his attex springer.

A 700 polaris sportsman 4 wheeler motor has 40 hp and runs the same width belt,water cooled.

Robbie is absolutely right, this is the most bang for your buck with the Bandolero 600 Briggs racing engine. It is reliable, VERY powerful and it will do anything you could ever ask it to.
