i put 30 peak horsepower in bruiser i think i paid $1725.00 my wife says $1625.00 i could have got it cheaper with out the muffler $100.00 off /she is usually right. my engine has a feature that will hold a certain rpm even if you leave go of the throttle wich make it nice trail machine. to release just hit the throttle again.

That engine really pushes your machine. Interesting feature too. Very cool.
Big hunter, Most snowmobile engines will work. Not sure about all but I think so.
Does the snowmobile engine run backwards if so do you have to change that?
Most snowmobiles I've seen, the clutch is on the left, and spin counterclockwise, looking from that end. It just looks confusing because the driven, (or secondary) is mounted rearward of the engine, instead of in front of the engine, near the exhaust.
Off topic, I just got an old ez-go golf cart, and found the 2 stroke runs backwards for reverse.

Skidoo make sleds that have a push button reverse which just messes with the timing and the engine dies, sometimes backfires/pops but not always, then starts running in reverse. Sounds like ez-go had the same thing. Pretty cool, didnt have any extra weight for the reverse.
larryw i am impressed with that machine with the powermax i believe in 1 of your previous post you removed that governer that thing rocks and rolls
Thanks Jeff! Removing the governor just made it rev quicker with better throttle control. The stock setup was restrictive with the amount of throttle cable travel I had. The governor is still used for the cable return. Worked out sweet not having a return spring the throttle is soooo effortless to use. Before I always had a strong return spring and it was tiring after a while. But I had to use it. It was a great improvement. I just have to watch the revving.
I've been doing some more thinking. What do you guys think?
If I were to go with a MC motor and maybe one with a built in trans, do you think I could put a sprocket on the T-20 input shaft instead of the CVT set-up? I know I would have to shift gears in the motor, but I thought maybe having gearing options could be helpful
Don't know, just thinking out loud. Any input whould be appreciated
I was wondering the same thing! Has anyone used a motorcycle engine with transmission?

It is possible but seems so much easier to me to just punch the gas and go.
Member Duke had a mc style motor in his gyp sea and he loves it. Just a matter of opinion I guess. If that what you want then do it. With all the gear ranges its would be sweet to have low end power to pull.,climb, push or tow.
