  • Anyone gone electric?

Would take a large amount of batteries, and be far less convinient than gas. be very quiet though. Think I would wire in GFI though to be safe.

There was an Amphicat on ebay recently that was modified to electric drive, and Attex factory built an all-electric machine in the '70s. I have a Popular Science article on the Attex somewhere- if I can find it I'll post it.

    Don
Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

    (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

The amount of control you would get from an electric drive machine would be outstanding. You could also incorporate re-generation during braking times.
