Hi all

I need to make a new harnesses and I'm a little confused..

I'm all good with which wire's go were except for the "Kill Switch"...

One diagram say's to short out the the Red on the output of the voltage regulator but i think that would fry it with a current surge..

Anyone know what wire's you short out to kill the ignition on a Vanguard 16 Hp..

On the front side of the shroud up top there should be a wire connection with a nut on top,That is the ground for the coils.The red wire from the voltage regulator is the charging wire.I ran a wire from the neg on the battery to a toggle switch then a wire to the coils to kill the engine.When i bought my argo it would not cut off by grounding it so i finally had to run a wire from each coil to a toggle switch and this ground one coil to the other coil.
