    Hello. looking to get a carb rebuild kit for my briggs and stratton 14hp vanguard. Anyone have one or know where to find one cheap. My local repair shop has it for 70.00$. Thanks!

    I think the number for your rebuild kit is 809021 (research that to make sure before you order). If that's the case then there is one on ebay right now for $36. Briggs & Stratton 807850 Carburetor Kit 809021 - eBay (item 370132427869 end time Dec-12-09 17:52:56 PST)

    Or you can search google and find them elsewhere online too.

      The carbs are very simple, and the internals hardly ever wear out. Take it off, give it a thorough cleaning. Use torch tip cleaners on the jets. It will probably run like new. Just did mine.

        a word of advice DO NOT ORDER FROM THOSE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

        absolute worst customer service i have ever recieved. they screwed me over... just trying to save the next guy some frustration. i paid them for a set of tires in September. still haven't gotten tires, or my money back... needless to say the authorities are involved
