Can anyone tell me which Mikuni carburetor will work best on the Kohler K440 2 cycle engine?

The round-slides are easy to work on, stay tuned pretty well and are easy to find parts for. Depending on what you want, anything from a 30mm on up to a 38 or 40 would be fine. I like the 36mm.

K440 with Walbro Carburetor

Currently I have a Walbro carb but as soon as the engine gets good and warmed up, It barely get above idle and dies if I try to give it to much throttle

Carburetor Rebuild

I just took apart the Walbro carb. and found one of the fiber gaskets in what I think is the fuel pump portion on this carb.

Does anyone know where I can get a carb. rebuild kit for this old 1972 Walbro?
