I have a 16hp Powermax in a lifted golf cart. I have a hour meter on it with about 30 hours on the clock. It starts and runs nice and doesn't burn any oil. I completely removed the governer to provide a place to run a pulse fuel pump. I've kindda ran that little motor like I hate it and it has just kept coming back for more. I agree on the wishing they had a twin. I remeber seeing some clone 20hp twins when I bought my 16 but it seems like they were $1000 and I can't even find them now.

They are quite with stock exhaust. The run/start good. Mine seems to be clankity. I know I ran mine hot and the head gasket is leaking but it still runs and starts good so Im not to worried. I think the clankity is the head gasket leaking making it chirp or something. I see exhaust pop out of the gasket on startup. lol I overheated mine twice untll it wouldn't run no more not realizing the cooling fan on flywheel came off. The oil was like gas. I thought I had a carb problem at first. Not sure if the head is warped or the gasket is bad but just shows the abuse they will take. A briggs V-twin vangaurd motor runs so much smother though. But they are like the price of 3 of these motors. Soooo...
As far as fuel goes Im not sure exactly. I never pay attention at all. I always have gas on hand so I just fill it when it quits. I normally never fill it fill either. I know there is a powermax manual in the manual section and I believe it said the spec of fuel usage.

Yea I dont see why not. Marty has one in his. It moves my Attex around nice. Max is heavier though. It should have plenty of power to move it along but if you are running tracks or want a speed demon then maybe not your choice. It will spin all 6 of my tires before it bogs down in an attex with good year rawhide terras. Should be plenty of power to do what ever you want. Minus the track thing but I have no experience with tracks just know they rob horses.
