Briggs oil filter where it is?

Hi guys, I just purchased a 1988 Argo SB with a 16 H.p. While doing maintenance on it, I was wondering if it had a oil filter. I went to Briggs&Stratton online and typed in my model number and type. It recognizes the numbers. The diagram shows a oil filter, but does'nt show where it is. I'm wondering if the oil pump and filter was an option or does it come as standard equipment. Even the parts manual that came with the Argo shows the engine,but no filter.

Problem solved, I have no oil filter/oil pump. It's a splash system.
