Does anyone have any pictures of how the throttle linkage is arranged? Mine has a spring that looks to big to be hooked where it is. Any pictures of the linkage would help alot...thanks in advance.

Throttle return spring
I have a 2001 MaxII with a 16 horse vangaurd. Is there a throttle return spring? Mine doesn't want to return to idle, nothing pulls the throttle closed. There are 3 springs that appear to be hooked correctly. When you squeeze the throttle it stays where ever you let up. I had asked for pictures of the linkage, but got no response. Haven't been able to find anything in gallery and my Briggs dealer doesn't show the set up very well. Any suggestions?Last edited by Mike; 03-10-2010, 11:14 PM.
