  • Clutch bore dim's.

    For a centrifugal clutch on the engine, what are some of the more common bores thst one would find on a unit for say a 4 stroke 20-25 hp to couple to a t-20? I have an engine in my sights but would like more info before comitting to purchase it.

    Mostly 1" keyed. Some are tappered though as well. Best to go online and check the tech specs on the motor you want then call around and see what you can find. My Honda 20HP VTwin was 1" my Briggs is 1" my kohler is tappered.

      Thanks Dezi, I had my eye on a Honda 24hp V-Twin however,it went quick and is no longer avail. Gonna have to keep looking

        NP Joe.. I droped in the 20HP Honda and no problem at all. HAd one small change for the exhaust buy thats it...

        Was very happy how easy it was.

            Sure thing... It;s a GX 620 V-Twin 20hp. It bolted right to the powerpack and belt alignment was perfect! Ony problem we had was that the exhaust pipe was a little too close for my liking to the belt se we bent it up about 1". Thats all we had to do. Nice thing was as well the exhaust is bolted to a bracket so we didn't have to mount it to anything. Since the Argo muffler exits the side and mine exits the back, we will just need to use some flex pipe and direct it out where it needs to go. Need to tune it a bit to idle it down but it ran really good when we took it out.. I'll post some pics for ya so you can see what I mean tonight.
