Looks like a great motor, hi power, light weight, good longevity. I'm no motorcycle expert, but don't they turn about 10K rpm's, and the crotch rockets like 12-15k rpm's? Compare that to a briggs, I think they are about 3500 rpm. I think gearing it down would be important.

this was an experiment in the late 80's..it was a bad deal..dangerous is more the word I need to use here. This thing was set in third gear, using a t-20 trans as clutch. powered by a driveshaft from the engine into a 2 - 1 gearbox. I was traveling the country when my buddies pulled this stunt. I couldn.t take the 8x8 with me, so I gave it to them to do with what they wanted...this is what they told me when I settled back in the area..."0 - 70 or 80 mph...right now!!!! scared to death, scared to turn, scared to brake, new I was gonna die!!! it made one trip from the shop and terrified him to the point that it never was used again, except for parts and a donor vehicle.. nuf said!!

there is no substitute for a full roll cage and 5pt harness. I try to never crash without them.
Wanna buy them? Free lake Michigan sand with purchase. lol
