  • efi vs carb

i have a 2003 max IV that is carbed, i dont use this very much, i try to start it some and drive it around the yard to keep it running, i also put the gas saver treatment in all the time and dont keep a lot of fuel in it
but it tends to have issues and then when i need it , it does not run

i am wondering if i would be better off with an efi machine

wondering how hard it would be to swap motors or maybe i should just buy a different one?

any input would be great, thank you

It will be the same with EFI. It's the gas now days, its just not as clean as it was 20 years ago. Just my 2 cents hope this helps. Cougar

Keep your fuel tank full and make sure your cap seals well. Air contains moisture, and the moisture degrades the fuel.

Use Fuel Stabilizer and some water remover, that will keep your gas fresh and usually last about 4-6 months.
