Max2 Carb

My 2001 max came with a 14hp vanguard... I was told for a little more power get a 16hp carb... so i did.. But the new carb has a silenoid where as the old carb did not... Do I A. wire up the silenoid? or B. pull the plug from the 14hp carb and insert it into the 16hp carb?

Either way.. I would use the plug myself. If you had back firing through the tailpipe at shut down, the solonoid might help. If you need to use both carbs, you can cut the tip off of the plunger and use the soloniod as a plug, no wiring needed.
