For a little less than that I bought a 2inch pipe nipple, a ball valve, a nipple to adapt from the valve to the hose, and 2 ft of 1/4 inch hose. All works great. Drilled a small hole in the handle of the ball valve and put a spring on it. anchored the other end to the frame so it holds it shut so it can't open by mistake. Have to physically hold it open to drain. Let go, and it automatically closes and stays closed.
It's all just nuts and bolts.
