Kohler 22 hp v-twin?

Just ran accross an ad for a used Kohler 22HP V-Twin. heres the ad Kohler 22 Hp V-twin for sale - St. Albert Tools & Hardware For Sale - Kijiji St. Albert Canada. now it says it has low compression so a rebuild would be in order but will this work and fit into my 88 magnum? replacing my 18HP Kohler? Thanks

I cant answer you specifically but first is can you get a clutch to accept that crank? If rebuilding maybe you can get a crank that would interchange and work better for you.

Second is mounting engine with space and being able to re manufacture the motor mount. That could be same mount not sure, Hopefully someone else will chime in there. Third, consider the exhaust and make sure there is room for that.

Still if you can get that motor rebuild and work for less then $500 that is a good deal. Plus you would have it as new being rebuilt. Hope I helped somewhere and that someone response with more specifics.
