I just had all my chains replaced and it was runing great till I got it back from the dealer seems like it has no low end moves then dies like not getting enough fuel.tried playing with idle screw but didnt help.then it ran for about 10 minutes it didnt have the power as usaul wouldnt climb much would sputter out im sick of sinking money into this max 4 please help

check to see that it has spark on both cylinders. I had the diode wire on a 18 vanguard burn out killing one cylinder. it acted a lot like what your describing. if it doesn't have spark on one side, pull the flywheel cover and remove the small black wire running between the 2 coils. then fire it up and see how it does. with the wire removed it won't shut off with the switch, you will have to choke it to kill the engine. you can do a SHORT test drive with the flywheel cover removed, but that is what directs cooling air to the cylinders so don't hammer on it too hard or you risk burning up the engine. a new kill wire is around $11 from any briggs dealer. they will want the model, type, and code (stamped on a tag on the flywheel cover) to look it up.A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
