Kohler 16HP

i have a hustler 945-hk with a kohler 16hp engine. does anyone have any specs on this engine like what size shaft. i am debating on upgrading with was wanting to keep the clutch but didnt know the shaft size. any sugestions would help on which engine to put in. im doing a frame up resto as we speak. also are the chains #40.

I believe the Kohler K-341 has a 1" shaft.

Just about every Hustler ever made came with #50 chain. I know for a fact the 900, 945, 950, and 980 models all had #50.
