I'm going to put some heat shield inside. As for the bigfoot, I'll asl my wife and parents for one. If they don't get it for me, I've been slowly buying cold medicine to trade for that one in tennessee. (if the feds are reading this, I'm only joking about the cold medicine)

    Thanks John,

My birthday is coming up and I think I'll get myself the 3" set up and try it out. I've been looking at them for over a year now. I was constantly checking ebay for something that would work on my set up, but anything that looks remotely close to what I would need looks like junk. I gotta get my machine in turn key top performing shape before busco. Unlike many of you guys I only have 1 amphib... for now. (unless you count the stripped down max II jpswift told me to take, but I'm waiting till spring to snag that)

Drew, I have one on one of my 4-wheelers (sorry, but I have a couple of those too) and it works quite well. It's got a nice sound, not obnoxious, and can easily be tuned to how you want it to work. Mine is a closed circuit pipe so it's the louder version, it's the aluminum race series, SuperTrapp: Performance Exhaust. I would go with the smallest size (3") so you will have more adjust-ability as far as tuning goes, but if you decide to go with one, I'd think you'll love it.

Has anyone used a supertrapp muffler. I've been contemplating purchasing one for the OH160 in my Tomahawk for a while. It looks like the exhaust shoots out the sides of the muffler. I was kind of worried about it melting the body. Maybe put some heat shield on that side or something. They are kind of pricey so I thought I'd ask before dropping $150+ for one. Here is a link to their web site.
