I woke up to another 6" of snow this morning. Of course the fuel pump is not pushing any fuel
.
The fuel line and filter is new and the tank was flushed in October- Its clean.
Sooo I'm assuming the fuel pump died and will be replaceing it this afternoon. Since it is down, I decided to give it a once over and when I checked the oil, it was WAY over full.
Since the pump is Vacuum operated is it possible that it pulled the fuel through a torn diaphram (HATE when that happens) and into the valve cover? I would like to avoid gas in my oil in the future...
Next question- I read on here where someone is using an electric pump in their 6x6. I cant find that post now though. What is involved in doing that? what pump can be used? do you need a regulator? what psi (1?, 2?).

) So I'm sure you are already changing it or did already. A hole in the diaphragm sure will "make oil". Hopefully it didn't run with the excess gas and wash the bearings. (And pretty sure you already know but DON'T run it with gas in the oil)
