So here is an update in case anyone has the same problem in the future. After waiting a week and not getting the part, I decided to try fixing the old rectifier. I cleaned it really good with an abrasive cloth, cleaned the wires up, attached it to a safe location instead of having it hanging, and it works. The volt gauge on the dash reads a good 13-14 volts. I hooked up the volt meter to test what's coming out of the rectifier when revving the engine, and I'm getting a good 13.5 volts. So as of right now I believe my problem is solved, battery is finally getting charged again.
THANK YOU ALL for the help!! I would of never figured it out without you guys.
