Unidentified electric cable on Magnum 18

Sorry Glenn, I did not type what i meant to say. The blue wire ties in to a black wire coming from the front of the engine. It is not visible so you will have to use a mirror.

Yes the blue wire on mine ties into the oil temp. guage which has about 10" of black wire coming off it. Hope this helps.

Mike, yep got that, but where does the other end connect to, on the engine. The temp guage always shows zero, so presumably it is not connected to anything. There is a whole mess of wires connected to the guage.

Hope you Kohler owners can help me here. I have an unidentified blue cable running (I think) from the oil temperature guage, which terminates at the front of the Argo.
I had to take the engine out this week to replace the starter motor, so at the same time we had a chance to identify its correct placement,but in the end couldnt find anywhere. Hope sombody can help.
