I have a 2002 Argo Bigfoot with 18 Briggs, I was wondering if I have any other carb choices. I have cleaned mine and adjusted jets..ect and it runs well, shifts really nicely but for some reason when it's warmed up I get power loss, up hills at tile I had to pull the choke to keep her going! She runs mint when first started, and this issue can't be a fuel delivery problem, I have replaced lines, filters, oem diaphragm pump, and installed an acc electric fuel pump. Does the 18 Briggs have any known issues aside from carb that would cause this? I thoughtthat at first removing the hood helped, but the next day when it wasn't that warm I experienced the same issue. Any thoughs suggestions! I was hoping I could upgrade the carb, but I don't know what I souls change it to, or get a rebuild kit ad replace stuff.

You can bolt on the 20hp 2bbl carb and manifold. Performance V Twins makes a Mikuni Kit for the 20hp manifold.

yep, 18 and 20 are the same engine with a different carb and Intake. Call Trevor at 704-202-7650 and he can hook you up with good used parts at a fraction of the cost of new. Tell him Brian sent you
