I believe that line is used for a pump when running a dual carb setup. You should cap it.

Yes^^ George is right, the G44Bs were "capable" of running twin carbs and fuel pumps, hence the other port on the crank case for the crank case pressure to run a second fuel pump. This port HAS to be blocked off for the engine to run properly, mine has a seal and a clip over it, really anything will do, just split a gas line in half, and tie it down over the port with some hay-wire.
It will run a lot better when blocked off.

Thanks guys, i was on the fence about it. i know from previous snow machine (mobile lol) experience that the case needs to be leak free. I just heard a rumor that some old old engines had open cases or check valves to keep from blowing the seals out. It does seem to like NGK BR8ES plugs better. Use the 8s in the argo, if it loads up than they wont work. It will prolong the engine life and help it run cooler. Typicaly cooler=more horse powerat least you are having a better day than i am. I get to go opean a thread in the transmission section of argos... ut ohhhhhh
