Max II Kawasaki Engine

Hey, can anyone help me date and find parts for my MAX II? The SN is 6225. I think this must be an early 80's model. And the engine is a TA440A-C203 Kawasaki. Can anyone point me to parts? The iginition looks good but the left cylinder will not fire. I am planning on running a compression test and maybe taking off the head. I have a lot of car engine experience and am fastly learning about 2 strokes
