For my '97 Conquest/ Kawasaki FD620D. I have found several places that offer parts by the piece, but cannot find anyone that sells a "rebuild kit" for the most commonly replaced items. Since this thing is 14 years old and only has about 50 hours on it, should I just order a new carb? I can't imagine that any of the o- rings and or other failable parts are in any kind of usable condition due to time alone, although this has not been verified by carb removal yet.

Ok well I took the carb off here about an hour ago and then had to hop in to make a grilled cheese for my daughter. Nothin like workin at the stove with gas vapours comin off my hands even after I have washed them. Anyways, there really isn't much to see in there. The float looks good and the jets are clear. I have an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner on the way from Harbor Freight Tools to clean the innermost passageways spotless so this is where I am at as of now. The bowl was practically spotless aside from a miniscule amount of black sediment in one corner. I tried the propane check before I took it off to see if I had a gasket leak but that test was negative. So unless there is something in a passageway that is blocking the spray nozzle into the manifold, I don't know what else could be the problem of the broken spark plug(rear cylinder) The jets look fine.
