Blew a headgasket on the chief..

CRAP!!!!..blew a gasket on the 400 this morning..i came home cuz it sounded "funny" and when i shut it off, it was a mother bear to start back up...and then i noticed a rotational "hiss" as it cranked...so i invsetigated only to find that my headgasket was burned out on one side..ahhhhh snap!!!

here's whats up...i need a gasket set for it now..and the block tag says " 2F440-7 " sooooo...what gasket set is interchangeable?

Should be able to find them on eBay. There are more parts available for the 440 than the 400.

Thanks george. Just wanted to make sure the last digit of the motor number (2f440-7) didnt mean anything important. but from what ive read, it doesnt..just means what model or series it was in..anyhow, i ordered a gasket set..now i wait...damnit i cant win! lol
