  • Kohler CH20 won't throttle down

Just recently my carb won't throttle back down after giving it some gas, it stays stuck at higher rpms. The throttle cable moves freely. Should the linkages move just as free or should these be a little effort to get them to move?
I sprayed some carb cleaner all over and noticed some bubbling between the top and bottom half of the carb.
I ordered a new gasket to replace, could this be the cause of my problem?

That would be a good start. The linkage should move freely although if you are using your hand to rev the throttle at the engine, it will take a little force to overcome the return spring. Is the return spring there? Can you close the throttle by hand and get the motor to idle back down that way?

I found the issue....The bolt in the center of the pic was a bit tight. Loosened it up and I'm good to go.
