have redone this motor new gasket kit installed we got it to start then turned it off wont start seems to be blowing gas out carb need help thanks also new plugs wires coils points condensors fuel lines battery gas tank all new wiring cleaned carb looking to buy a horse to pull this in the woods lol maybe its the first amish 6x6 lol

spoke with richards relics he thinks gas still flowing into carb and into crankcase said to put a fuel shutoff on the line and turn it off before shutting off with key both times that we have gotten this thing to run it has been with a cold dry engine also plugs are wet when we have tried to restart also crankcase plugs were opened and fuel did blow out going to dry out and try later any other thoughts let me know its a walboro wr carb if that helps thanks

seems that we are getting close found a shut off on the tank we shut it off and let it die before shutting off we also adjusted the intake needle and we have been able to get it going 3 times in a row wow getting different plugs might not need the hose lol but would like to know what carb we could change to thanks

we got it to work using the shut off valve close it let the engine stall out then when starting crank engine then open shut off starts right up if you need to we remove impulse hose from crankcase and turn over engine till no fuel comes out put hose on it starts will be looking to get a different carb

At least you have something that works temporarily while you look for another carburetor.
