I am having trouble with the starting/choke system in my attex.
It is a jlo399 with a vm32 carb.
My trouble is the choke doesnt work at all.I replaced the insert and I believe all ports all clean.I can choke the machine with my hand and it fires right up. But even if I pull the choke open when its running it doesnt enrich the motor at all, has no effect.
Anyone have any ideas?clogged air port is only thing i can think of but I have cleaned it 4 times to no avail.

snag another carb off of a snow machine. try it, if it works then get the total rebuild kit for yours. Are the floats set correctly?

or maybe your cable's stretched so bad it wont actuate?

That was it wagz. Got a new cable and cut it to length and works perfect!
