Starter draw for JLO 399?

Does anyone know how many amps a starter on the JLO 399 would draw? I gotta move the battery and want to fuse the longer starter feed.

There is no simple answer to that question. In theory, the amp draw is near infinite (only limited by the resistance of the wires) untill the motor starts to turn. In practicality, the figure to use is 6 times FLA (full load amps) on start up of the electric motor. Determining your FLA will be hard also. As the voltage goes down the amps go up. Moving the battery farther away puts more voltage drop on the wire and less on the motor= more amp draw. Use a larger gauge wire to offset this. My advise is to use wire loom around the wire and make sure it is fastened in place well enough so it won't chafe.
