Having trouble with ignition on my Kohler K399-2S. When I don't have anything hooked up to the main harness, it sparks fine. I just put a new magneto and points into it, and I hooked it up to the switch. When I turned the key on, I heard a pop, so I pulled the flywheel again, it had welded off the cyl. 1 tension spring, ruining the point assembly. Anyone know what might be going on? I have replaced every electrical part on the engine and machine. I have an early 70's Argo. Thanks
