Hi all
Got an engine to replace the dead one in my 82 argo 6x6. Pulled the old one out and I can't get the new one to go as it hits the top deck infront of my hood. Would need to split the top and bottom apart to do the install. Then cut a notch for the engine top to stick out. Not a big one, but still would be cutting the top. Now I know why the new ones have a high front and shorter hood.
My question is would you cut it and put in the engine or go shopping for a different one.
thanks
PS: the engine is a 45hp 4 stroke single 500 cc liquid cooled with clutch and all needed to make it run.
