  • Model number on Kaw FD620?

Hey guys,i'm still gettin gas in my oil pretty bad on my argo conquest,i was wondering if anyone can tell me where the model number is located on the motor i'd appreciate it.im going to take the carb to be rebuilt. Also how do you disconnect the anti-firing thingamagig(solenoid?)off the side of the carb does it just unscrew? Thanks
When i check my oil a couple times after an oil change its fine but if i start it up here and there to move it around the garage and yard i'll check it and it will be loaded with gas the oil is over full and is very thinned out.I have changed the oil three times since i first noticed the problem,i guess hoping the issue would magically disappear,i also changed the spark plugs.I'm also expieriencing a lil bit of difficulty starting the machine when it is cold and maybe this is why the unburned gas is going into the motor?(common maybe?)I'm hoping that these are carb issues,so im taking the carb in to get rebuilt before i blow the motor. Thanks guys if i didnt have this site for help and info id be up a certain creek without a paddle or should i say in a swamp without an amphib!

will be hard to see you really have to get down there low to see it under plastic shroud flywheel side, as for your problem usually thos carbs are bullet proof and electric fuel pump has to run to get fuel flowing in the motor, first thing i would do is a compression test to make sue you dont have a ring problem which is common when these motors get overheated

Thanks guys for the replies ill try to find the number, but eightwheeler I hope it ain't a ring problem I got a good deal on the conquest but maybe that is why I did! The motor seems to run great when I ride it.But I will definetly check the compression do u know what the cylinders should be at.The machine has 328 hrs on it.
